  Have recently moved close to this pub and gave the food a try a few weeks back, since then we eat here at least once a week, finding it hard to stray away from our favourites the home made cheese and onion pie, and the steak and ale pie, both served with home cut thick chips fried in dripping that gives them the best taste! we have been in recently for the Tuesday night quiz, that seems to be popular, had a great laugh and the table next to us won £200 on play your cards right! The landlords and staff are very friendly, great selection of ales, amazing home cooked food and a warm atmosphere, what more could you want from a local???
